WOMEN'S AID EMERGENCY

Over the last few years we saw reports that domestic abuse centres were closing and specialisms in the police were being cut. Domestic abuse was being treated as a luxury in the government's budget. Yet women were being killed every few days.

With the election on the horizon, we wanted to try make the powers that be, see that there is an emergency. A constant threat to life that needs as much attention that is given to other emergencies.

Holly and I spent two month reading 10 years of data to try to find something that would prick up people's ears. It must have worked, as it made its way into parliament.
